Our last cruise was the Mediterranean with Princess. We wanted to do a family vacation. Booked NCL mostly due to ports and price. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there was very little difference in the facilities available on the ship compared to the Princess (Emerald) that we had been on previously.

I frequently go on these reviews to get information about the cruise we are going on and find them mostly helpful. Alot of your experience is related to your expectations.

We found the rooms clean, with everything you needed. Best to store suitcases under the beds for more room. Didn't like the soap or hair shampoo but asked our room stewart for another type and was promptly given new ones from the spa. Problem with our safe and within 5 minutes an electrician was up and fixed that also. Wow!!! My husband and I had a balcony and the boys had an interior room (very dark and you loose track of what time it was). We enjoyed the balcony very much - only room for about 3 people at a time though.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Large shower, good storage for close. Tight quaters with bathroom door and closet. Wonderful area for room.
