As experienced cruisers, including two Viking river cruises, we were looking forward to this ship and this trip and were not disappointed. As other reviewers have said, the ship is stunning, in an under-stated Scandinavian way, and provides an extremely enjoyable experience. No silly ice-skating rink or rock-climbing walls--just a beautiful ship where every effort has been made to serve the passengers. The food was of high quality and available in whatever format you wanted. The cabin (we were in the lowest cost one) was perfect (we had heard that space was limited and packed accordingly). We loved having a launderette on each floor (it gets vicious on Oceania where there is just one per ship). The staff served us beautifully and worked hard on the excursions, etc.

We were slightly disappointed with a couple of the tours and were pleased that we didn't try to go to Berlin (we had been there before).

My husband is lukewarm about cruising but he thoroughly enjoyed this trip.
