My DW and I have been loyal Celebrity cruisers for almost 20 years and have sailed in every class of ship, and some of those ships many times. Although Millennium is now the oldest ship in the Celebrity fleet, she is still a fine ship to sail on.

We began this cruise with a 5 night cruise tour starting in Anchorage. We arrived in Anchorage one day prior and stayed at the downtown Marriott, the same hotel that is used by Celebrity for their cruise tours. The hotel was just fine and in a great location for restaurants and coffee. On Sunday July 5th we met our cruise director Darren. Darren was a very nice guy and knowledgeable about Alaska. He was also funny, friendly and had a tendency at times to repeat himself.

On Monday July 6th we began our cruise tour with a train ride on the Alaska railroad to Talkeetna. The Talkeetna Alaskan lodge was a fine place to stay and we were lucky enough to see Mount McKinley in full glory. Needless to say we were in the 30% club and very awed by the sight.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

We were in this stateroom because the aft cc staterooms on the M-class ships have a huge balcony. We have been in this same stateroom on two other M-class ships. So this is a stateroom we like very much. It's good size and service was very good.

Port Reviews

Seward

Seward was a small port but there were plenty of Celebrity reps and check in went very quickly and efficiently.
