Ports -- All but one port provided many interesting things to see. The itinerary is why we chose this cruise. The exception was he Port of Ravenna which was not worth stopping at. There was nothing to do. The cost of the shuttle was high at $22 per person and the panoramic tour we took for over $50 each showed us schools and talked about mosaics. It was a waste of time and money. This is the only ship excursion that we took and I would rate it poorly. Not happy with this port at all. For all other ports, we organized our own expeditions.

The ship is old and tired, but the staff were great, but on occasion a little careless with details. We had a busy itinerary of ports (except Ravenna). The trip was really good for the ports and the friends we met on Cruise Critic prior to boarding. The staff was friendly and attentive. However at the Crown and Anchor get together, I have never heard staff introduced as being in charge of this revenue stream or that revenue stream for the company. This is poor and makes you feel like all the company wants is your money.

Captain Marek was very personable and the staff was helpful, but at times confused. For example, the bar staff at different locations had no idea what the drink of the day was or how much it should cost. Next cruise staff - Telma was very helpful and personable. Trivia sessions was interrupted frequently to have a commercial (staff member plugging some shopping deal). This goes with the idea that the company is only looking at you as a participant in the revenue stream.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Cabin is small and tight. It is a bit outdated. There is no room for the ladder for the bunks when the beds are combined below. The nightstand did not fit correctly into the cabin and was used as a table with the drawers being unaccessable.
