Viking Star lived up to the hype. The ship is a wonderful size allowing people to meet with many delightful nooks. The Wintergarden is a beautiful place to relax and to enjoy the free afternoon tea. Wine and beer is part of lunch and dinner wherever one chooses to eat. I found the food, presentation and service to be first class at the two specialty restaurants. Elsewhere the food was always exceptional.

The auditorium provides sofa and upholstered swivel chairs for our comfort. The electronics foe AV are state of the art. Good lectures and fun shows are held there and on Deck 7 near the pool.

There are many choices for shore excursions. At this point many tour guides are new and have yet to make their spiels a theme or story line. The busses and guides strive to make the tours pleasant and enjoyable.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

The cabin was nicely furnished and we enjoyed sleeping in a king size bed. The cabin was well insulated from noise by neighbors. One night a sing along was going on in the deck above us and the bass noise was terrible. When we asked we were assured the event would end at 10:15 and it did.
