Sail Date: Jun 2015

Went on the 11-night Baltic sea cruise with Serenade of the Seas sailing on June 17th. This was our first time cruising with RCL and we were quite impressed with the service.

The entertainment exceeds our initial expectation. The dining service as well as the food also were great. Our group consisted of 13 people ranging from 1.5 year old infant to 70+ years old. But they were able to arrange a big table fit for us every night.

The ports that we visited were: Copenhagen, Rostock, Klaipeda, Visby, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallinn, and Stockholm.

Port Reviews

Visby

Nice small town. Rented a bike to visit the ruins and the church.

Rostock (Warnemunde)

The ship docked very far from the town. Need to use shuttle bus.

Not too many interesting to see. Didn't want to go to Berlin because of the 7hr for round trip travel.

Tallinn

It's a nice medieval old-town with lots of shop still maintaining their medieval look.

Copenhagen

A nice city with lots of things to do. The public transportation of this city is very extensive and very tourist friendly. You can just ride the 1A bus to have a tour around the city for a cheap price.

Helsinki

This is a big city port with several tourist spots. The interesting place is the Rock Church.

Stockholm

It's an average city. The interesting place that we visit is the Vasa museum
