This was my families second cruise after travelling with Carnival in 2012 on the Carnival Breeze. The first thing we noticed that the Breeze was three weeks old when we sailed on it, the Oceana is 11 or 12 years old and looks it from the outside.

It is a smaller ship than the Breeze and we did have some concerns about that, but in fact it made it very relaxed and homely. The atmosphere on the ship was excellent throughout the week.

The bad points first as there are few. Yes the cabin was a bit dated. The cold water in the bathroom from tap and shower was never truly cold and lukewarm at best. The AC was also poor at times within the cabin. The balcony showed a lot of rust, but that did not diminish our enjoyment of it. The entertainment shows were also very mixed. The two comedians were average (Adrian Walsh) and poor Colin 'Fingers' Someone, who's act would have been ok 20 years ago on the Good Old Days. Some liked him, but the general feeling was very poor. The singers and groups were good and for a seven night cruise there was plenty of variety.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom with Shower

Cabin JA

Cabin was dated and the cold water from the taps or shower was never truly cold. AC could have been better. Room was spotless though. Some rust on the balcony.

Port Reviews

Kotor

Absolutely beautiful old town similar to Dubrovnik. The sail away was stunning to.
