We are a traveling family and were quite reluctant to go on this cruise because I'm a vegan, but when the person booking this cruise told me he went through a lot of trouble getting me a vegan chef (or so we thought) we were reassured and we spent the large sum of money to go through with the cruise. The first night of the cruise we got to our dinner place, they handed me a traditional menu and I happily took it thinking they just made a mistake and I would just correct them. Then when they came by again, they seemed unorganized- three different people taking our drink orders and dinner orders when we'd prefer to order once. When I stated I was a vegan and was told I would be accommodated, they appeared very confused. They said "well look on the menu" and I responded that the things on the menu did not accommodate me. After a lot of time passed, they came back and said that they would make me a vegetable stir fry. It certainly was not the selection I was expecting.

The buffet selection was not any better. Everything was quite old looking as well as covered in salt (one of our travelers can't digest large masses of salt) and also that most of their stuff was made with butter and eggs.

In the end, the food selection was only half the problem. The staff was quite rude to us and as we observed, others as well. If we weren't in the correct place many got very frustrated with us.
