Our daughter chose this cruise for her college graduation, and we ended up having a wonderful family vacation. We've cruised with other cruise lines (Disney, Princess, NCL, RCCL), but chose Celebrity because of the itinerary (8 Night Adriatic & Greek Isles) and sail date. We participated in the 123Go program, which included paid gratuities, the Classic Beverage Package, and $300 credit. The Celebrity Constellation sailed from Venice, and stopped in Split, Santorini, Mykonos, and Katakalon, before returning to Venice. We flew into Venice a couple of days early, and did some sightseeing before boarding the ship on July 11. Check-in was smooth, and we were on the ship within an hour. The stateroom was very comfortable, with plenty of storage space, large balcony, comfortable bed, and adequate bathroom. We chose Celebrity Select and ate all our dinners in the San Marco dining room, where the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Special kudos to our sommelier, Marko, and the assistant Maitre d, Hugo, who helped us immensely with our daughter who is vegan. We ate breakfast and lunch in the buffet area, which had a nice selection of food options to satisfy everyone in our family. We also enjoyed afternoon coffee and dessert in the coffee bar. The pool was quite small, and one had to be pretty aggressive for pool chairs. There was also a therapy pool in the adult area that we didn't get a chance to try. The fitness room was very nice, and we made good use of the treadmills and exercise bikes. The outdoor track was small, and had to be shared with both runners and walkers. Entertainment options were plentiful, and we enjoyed several musical performances and comedy shows in the theater. Super Captain Tasos (as our endearing Cruise Director Alejandro referred to him), was extremely informative, charming and witty, and had a great sense of humor. We also went dancing in the Reflections lounge to the music of DJ's Lucien and Inferno. During the days in port, we booked shore excursions through Celebrity, Viator, ShoreTrips, and SelectItaly. On the last evening of the cruise in Venice, we got to watch an amazing fireworks show over St. Marks Bay as part of the Redentore Festival. Finally, we purchased transfers to Marco Polo airport through Celebrity, which made the debarkation process much easier. Overall, we were impressed with Celebrity, and would not hesitate to sail with them again!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2B

Cabin 2B

Our cabin was on the 8th level next to the Library and elevators, located in the aft section of the ship. It was comfortable and provided sufficient storage space for all our belongings. The balcony was spacious, the king bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed. The room was spacious, with a sitting area, frig, safe, and desk. Our room attendant, Oscar, was very helpful and efficient.
