We decided to take a cruise to celebrate our silver anniversary. Good friends of ours always cruise on Crystal so we tried them first. I was put in touch with a travel agent in Las Vegas who never followed up with me on a request I ha, even though I kept checking back with her. We wanted something that was first class. Everything I read about this line was very good. And they were very responsive when I contacted them. They are extremely organized. The train ride to Seward was delightful and our luggage was waiting for us I our suite upon our arrival. We were also escorted to our suite and there we met our butler, a delightful young man. We enjoyed dinner in The Restaurant with the waiter we had the first night such that we made a point of sitting in his section every night! The staff everywhere was so friendly and courteous. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the variety of courses offered for dinner and we really enjoyed breakfast in our suite every morning. There were different lectures to attend, a cooking demo by the executive chef, movies, music and dancing, a casino and the excursions were great! No disappointments on this cruise. It exceeded our expectations!!
