30th wedding anniversary treat and first cruise. 5 star luxury afloat. We had an Aqua Class stateroom so could dine in 'Blu' restaurant. Top class food and service. Nothing too much trouble. Destinations all really pretty and very interesting. The entertainment on board was OK. Not that much to do in day during days at sea which didn't include additional expense wine tasting, Zumba, etc. Booked our tours through celebrity and the organisation was excellent with exceptional guides. Only two downsides which were at first continually bombarded about taking up the drinks packages which we refused and at end of cruise calculated that based on what we actually drank, and we didn't stint, we would have spent an additional 500 dollars if we had taken the package. Didn't like the constant sales pitch on this. Secondly and only a small point - it would have been nice if the bathrobes were changed at least once during the 2 weeks. However these are only small points and my husband and I loved every minute of this holiday and would definitely go with celebrity eclipse again. Very efficient embarkation and disembarkation, really impressed and so less stressful than flying. Amazing holiday.
Plenty of room for storage and didn't get cabin fever at all over 2 weeks. Was advertised as having face spray but couldn't find any. Bath products of a good standard but cotton pads non existent with only very small cotton wool provided and not always replenished on a daily basis which was a pain as had not taken any given they were to be provided. Room kept really clean with evening turn down and late afternoon canapés.
Again pretty and lots to see. Shuttle bus from port to city centre but beware there is an of part and a new part and you need to see the old part.
