I know I'm spoiled by usually sailing Freedom or Oasis class but as a LOYAL TO ROYAL cruiser I was disappointed in the condition of the ship. The emails needed paint and varnish as did most of the ship, the shower looked moldy and dirty. The stag puff however was top notch Royal! We had a great experience with Olan and Bernard ferret at the champagne bar! I did notice nobody was playing slots much, not paying out I assume! My biggest complaint and I made the Crown and Anchor staff awRe was the balcony and deck ( right side) we looked down on the top of the roof covering the life boats. That was a huge disappointment. We booked this on another cruise and the view or lack of was never mentioned. On a positive note, the staff was A plus, the scenery, excursions I booked Aplus! Alaska is a must!!! They have a LIT of work to do on land tour portion though.

We did fishing for salmon on our own, rented a pole and equipment at Dolly's house and found a local fishing off bridge! My husband caught a king salmon!
