The staff and service on Royal Caribbean was excellent. Our room was also extremely clean. Food was average. The my time dining food was definitely better than the buffet and our waiters very attentive. My family agreed that the Windjammer was not good, like a Golden Coral. Lots of food, but other than the lettuce and salad, poor quality, poor tasting, and lots of passengers grabbing. We did two excursions, a dolphin push & pull in St. Kitt's and a kayak/snorkel in Antigua. We loved them both, although they were both very pricey. Our only complaint was that we spent a lot of time posing with the dolphins for pictures, that were not included and very pricey. My daughter even said that she would have rather another ride with the dolphin than smile at the camera so many times. The kayak/snorkel in Antigua was wonderful with breathtaking views and excellent guides, definitely not for someone out of shape, it was a workout.
We also took cabs to beaches at St. Martaen, St. Lucia, and Barbados. Went to Renuit beach in St. Lucia and Vigie Beach in Barbados. We walked to a beach from the port in St. Martaen, very pushy people selling everything from foot massages to jewelry. All of the ports had people desparately trying to sell, but St. Martaen seemed the worst. Breathtaking views on the beaches in St. Lucia and Barbados, lots of fun water sports. Our cabin on the ship was clean but could use some updating, the couch has seen better days. Both my 9 yr old and 13 yr. old loved the kids and teen club.
I also got 2 "complimentary" massages, since there was a promotion for each room, we had 2 for our family. After the first massage, the therapist really pushed me to buy products, I broke down and wasted $110 on 2 products. One of the massages was good, and the other nothing special. Then surprise, 20% gratuity, in life nothing is really free.
Clean but could use some updating. Bathroom extremely small.
