A group of us traveled on Independence of the Seas July 12th-19th. This was our first time cruising on a Royal Caribbean ship. We have cruised before but always with Carnival.
We truly enjoyed the Independence: the ship daily offered multiple activities, broadway and comedy shows were top notch, cabin was cleaned, dining experiences were very good with ample food selections, (nightly Ramsel waiter in King Lear's dining room recommended dinner selections), staff extremely friendly and very accommodating! In addition we enjoyed the ports of call. Definitely will cruise again on Royal Caribbean!
A relative celebrated her birthday on board Independence of the Seas. At the last minute dinner reservations were made at Guest Srvives for Chop's Grille. We informed the agent at Guest Services we were celebrating a family birthday. She immediately contacted management via e-mail and by telephone to see if a birthday cake was available for the event. She assured us that she would do everything possible to help make this event special.
Balcony cabin; quite spacious, ample closet space, great view, and cleaned consistently.
Very quiet; Rarely heard any noise from the cabins above or next to me.
Loved and appreciated the towel animals that were regularly placed on the bed.
Bohan S. (stateroom attendant), upon arrival, introduced himself immediately, was always pleasant and most courteous.
Very nice and most relaxing. Beautiful beach!
Arrived at Port Everglades, embarkation was smooth and fast!
