My wife and I just returned from the Western Mediterranean route starting and ending in Rome. We were very much looking forward to being on the Allure since we had heard so much about it. We came away very disappointed in the ship.

The food in the dining room was horrible. One of our waiters actually suggested that RCCL may be doing it intentionally to force people to book the special dining rooms at an additional price.

The entertainment was just as bad. We never got to see the headliner show, Mamma Mia, as the show was cancelled at the last minute for the night that we booked it. The Aqua show was also cancelled twice during the week we cruised so we never saw that either. RCCL offered no alternatives to those shows, nor did they compensate us at all. Their attitude was "oh well, those things happen". The one show we did see, Blue Planet, put us to sleep. the choice of songs was questionable and the performance was boring
