We were really excited about this cruise because we had never done Aruba, La Romana, DR, Curaca0, and Grand Turk and Caicos. It was a family cruise with over 30 family and friends. For my husband and I, this was our third Carnival cruise and will be our last.

Starting from our cabin, too small and cramped. My son had to sleep up on a bunk on top of the ceiling. He had to climb the stairs every night and the bed/mattress had a squeaky noise every time he moved. The bathroom was a little small, but doable. The bathroom glass shelves were dusty, as they were never cleaned since the boat was built. The room temperature felt muggy/humid. Our clothes felt damped when taking it out of our luggage or the closet. The ceiling had splashes of "ketchup" color. I guess someone had a ketchup fiesta and never got cleaned.

The hallways were hot every day, especially at night. We're not sure if they were having air conditioning problems at the time. There was also a sewer smell in the back of the boat/hall ways. For a "Carnival fun ship" and a new ship, the colors in the hallway were not that appealing to the eye, but that's my opinion.
