On arriving at Southampton, travelling with my husband's family, we had an issue with a member from our group of 10 who had left their passport in London, so they and the leading person on our reservation had to return to London to retrieve the passport and re-joined us on the first port of call, which was Gibraltar. The ground staff controlling the embarkation could have more efficient and ready to deal with such an issue instead of letting the rest of us just sit around to wait on a decision, I know on Embarkation day there are so many people to get through and so many checks to be done but it doesn't take long to deal with a forgotten passport.

I found the boarding process a bit long and too slow due to not enough staff as we were a now group of 8, we were taken in 2 groups of 4, as there was now an issue with one of the groups with one of them now temporarily down 2 people, including the lead person on the reservation, the admin staff had to sort out the paperwork and kept the group waiting even longer - there could have someone else helping out with the remainder of the group to keep things moving but anyhow we all got on and continue our holiday sadly without our 2 missing friends but we were together again very soon.

Once on board, we located our cabin on the 6th floor, my only real niggle about my reservation was that when our reservation was made, I was on the same reservation number as my Mother-in-law, and therefore same cabin number - something to do with saving on costs lol, I was unable to change this reservation to the one of my husband, who was in another cabin, I moved to his cabin and his father obvious joined his wife & my Mother-in-law, which meant my Sea-pass card was not valid to open the door to my 'new' cabin and my 'wow' band did not refer my id as I changed rooms but I had my husband's so I knew any costs made would have gone back to him and our room/account. Reservations should be easy to change prior boarding, even if it just for the sake of safety and security should worst happen, if there was an option for this, it was not given.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Obstructed Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin DO

Lovely cabin, the right size for just the two of us, I'm not into fancy suite rooms etc, so this was ideal.

Port Reviews

Ibiza

Shuttle buses made it easy to travel from the port.
