Sail Date: Jun 2015

We've recently returned from three weeks in Spain, one of which was on the June 28 sailing of the Allure. We had two cabins: 9140 and 9141. Husband and I had the balcony cabin and son and daughter had the inside cabin across the hall. We bought the Ultimate drink package (which gave us the Royal Replenish free due to a promotion) and the Premium drink package. We booked one excursion through RCCL: Pompeii. This was our third cruise with RCCL.

The good:

1. Our cabin steward, Graig. He was excellent, attentive, friendly, and efficient. A true pleasure to work with.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

We arrived in Barcelona on Friday morning before Sunday's cruise and stayed in a VRBO just off La Ramblas. Excellent walkable city with great restaurants. The Sagrada Familia is a must-do.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

Hot. Wandered around ourselves. Beware the overpriced and lame horse and carriage tours.

Marseille

Not my favorite port--locals seemed irritated by the tourists and not very helpful.

Florence (Livorno)

Easy day of seeing Pisa/Tower on our own. Great town to wander, shop and eat.
