Went on a cruise July 12 -19 with Serenade of the Seas Baltic Cruise, and I must say RCL is slipping. I did the BOGO special, however they over charge you for everything: Mixed drinks $12.50 (They were $6.75 to $8.50 a year ago), Sundries (Dental Floss $5.50), Goods in the Centrum Shops were double and triple the price compared to the port shops. The food in the Windjammer is awful. Service was great, food was bad. Example: Eggs were rubbery, hash browns full of oil, orange juice was like drinking water. You could see the staff felt bad about this, however their hand were tied. The ship did not pull into the port at RIga, so RCL says you can not leave the ship unless you pay $14 pp for a shuttle bus into town. I purchased the tickets, however, they never asked for them and never checked.

***I rated the dining room Excellent, however, the Windjammer would be a 2 1/2 for food quality and Very Good for service.

So I will break it down as Pros and Cons:

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

Room was very large and balcony was great to have. The room was clean and tidy everyday by the room attendant. Great Service from the service people.
