We were so excited for this cruise - all the great reviews......obviously written by Carnival marketing team. This cruise was terrible from the minute we stepped on board. The embark process was a breeze. Everyone in the port terminal very nice. Once on board, here came the attitudes. The greeters, only goal was to hustle you through the door. Didn't want to tell you where anything was or what to do.

Safety requirement - waste of time, we stood there in rows all crunched together like sardines in a sauna for 45 minutes while every guest showed up, even the lolly gaggers that thought it was no biggie to make us all wait. Next time I'll know, show up at the last minute to avoid the miserable wait and first back in the doors. As soon as the very important instructions started on how to put a live vest on, the Disney cruise next to us blew their horn through the whole thing. Ok that part was comical.

Since we were in the last time group to board, we also missed lunch, no biggie they said at the terminal, just go to the buffet area and there will be plenty to eat. Ummmm, yea, after we asked a few disgruntle employees where we could find food, and half rear directions, we found the wonderful food of hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken strips, and I think that was frozen pizza that just popped out of the oven. So first meal on our wonderful cruise, hamburger, cold none the less. We blew it off to just boarding mishap.
