We have cruised before but never with Carnival. This was a two week package organised from the UK which offered a good price as opposed to paying individually for two x one week packages and the air fare to Miami,

This package was taken primarily for the first week of the cruise as we wanted to repeat some of the experiences we had taken previously at its ports of call . This itinerary covered Cozamel, Roatan, Belize and Cayman Islands. Second week of the cruise covered Half Moon Cay, St, Thomas, San Juan and Grand Turk.

Embarkation on the first week was good as we got to the check in desk around 2 pm/ 2.30 pm so the queues were not too bad. Straight on board and into cabin as it was ready.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8N

Very good cabin. Good size balcony. Third bed is great albeit a sofa in disguise. As big as a proper single bed and comfortable. Aft view cabins on deck 8 have much more room than the aft view cabins on decks 7 and 6. 8 cabins along the back on deck 8. 10 cabins along the back of decks 7 and 6. No noise heard from the pool machinery room which is located at the back but would point out if you booked the middle two rooms on the aft, you would suffer as they are directly opposite the pool machinery room

Not as soundproofed as previous cruises we have been on with other lines but we had good neighbours both weeks so no problems.
