The cruise allowed me to see some of the most beautiful places in Alaska. We went on great excursions ( whale watching, zip line at Icy Point). The ship is average. It is a bit dated but I thought of it more as mode of transportation more than anything else. I have cruised on Oasis and Liberty and there is no comparing this ship to those but again, you can't compare Alaska to the Caribbean either - it was majestic. The food was okay - the windjammer needs to add more variety each day. Our dining room waiter Diogo was very attentive and always accommodating. We had a balcony which is a MUST on an Alaskan cruise. Our stateroom attendant Daniella was very sweet and always ready to help with anything we needed. There was a "musty" smell in the hallway at times and our bathroom had an odor that wasn't terrible but it was noticeable. All in all a fantastic trip to Alaska.
