Sail Date: Jul 2015
Cabin: Ocean View

This was our seven cruise on Carnival. We were on an 8 day Eastern Caribbean itinerary during the week of July 4, 2015. Our ports were St Martin, St Kitts, San Juan, and Grand Turk. We left from Fort Lauderdale on Saturday afternoon.

Passengers: 3100 on our sailing. There were many young families and young couples as usual on Carnival. This time there were also many more older people on this cruise.

Cabin: We had connecting cabins on deck two 2332 and 2336. The location was good but there was some noise in the mornings after 8am.

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Beautiful Island, good shopping in port. Beware of the guys with monkeys. A local said that they are filthy and the guys who use them to get you to take pictures with them do not wash them.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Transferred to the Port Everglades by cab. The price is about $10 to $15. Our cab driver tried to go as slow as possible to run up the cab fare. Still all he could do was make it to $15 dollars. When this happens I simply adjust the tip to reflect the poor service. Anyway, it was easy and quick.
