My trip back to the Motherland (England), started on a sad note, my fiancée had to take a flight due to work so I travelled on the ship alone. To my delight when I made this apparent to the staff they put me on a table with a bunch of great people, and the Captain... for the week! I was very happy with this and made some great friends during my crossing.

To my surprise the crossing was extremely smooth, even in 'waves'. The food was spectacular and so was the service. I thoroughly enjoyed the Spa every morning, and then the afternoons in the hot tubs on the back of the ship. The evening entertainment was always fun and there always seemed to be something to do-even as a single passenger.

Embarking and disembarking was very enjoyable with no problems and great communication. Sadly my room was above the engine room so I could feel vibrations through the hull, I asked about this in the morning and was caringly upgraded, to which I gladly accepted. Rooms were clean and spacious.
