When I saw some of the scathing comments about customers’ experiences on the Hermod and we were about to set off to cruise on her, I was extremely concerned. However a very prompt reply to my email to the hotel manager on board assured me all was well.
After an extremely enjoyable cruise up the Rhone and Saone I can confirm that all is very well with the boat and all the crew, all of whom from the Captain down did everything to ensure we had the best possible cruise experience.

Deluxe Stateroom
Ignoring the suite’s, we actually chose this cabin, because apart from the fact it has a half height window it’s the same size as all the rest and a lot cheaper and after all we only sleep in it. The finish is outstanding; there are plenty of drawers and hanging space; the shower arrangement with the two glass doors works very well and the lighting is very effective.
