Lovely ship, pity about the service and food.

Cabin: Oceanview (obstructed view)

Always wanted to try Cunard and expectations were set high, so we booked a mini-cruise Kiel to Southampton in an ocean view room.

The good....

Stateroom was nice size, good decor and well serviced. 1/2 bottle of fizz on departure was a nice touch. Quality Penhaligon's cosmetics were also lovely. Plenty of storage for a longer cruise.

Cabin Review

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Nice cabin, comfy bed, no noise, though there is some vibration being on deck 4. Small bathroom, but clean and useable. Plenty of storage in wardobes and under bed.

Interactive TV system missing, so limited functionality.

Port Reviews

Brugge (Bruges)

We took the free shuttle into Blankenburg, aiming to go into Bruges, but it was raining. We decided to just look around Blankeburg which was a pleasant seaside town with a market selling nice waffles, cheeses etc, so had a pleasant time there instead.

Southampton

Only arrived here to go home. Very slick disembarkation process and was off quickly.
