The service was horrible (some just plain rude), food was mediocre, smallest bathroom of any cruise ship I have been on (we had a balcony room), and the activities were all geared towards older folks and those who want to spend money on purchases. My husband called it a floating mall. The ship is worn, but I had expected that since it is due for a remodel, so I overlooked that portion. Are you used to little details likes getting the towel animals on your bed? You won't get it. Want an adult area? Sure, it will cost extra. Want decent food? You'll have to pay to go to the restaurants. If you want to pay for better food, buy art, jewelry, listen to crooners music and compete in 50s music trivia, then this is the cruise for you. Want to attend a class at the gym? You have to pay for those too. Worst cruise I have ever been on! Unfortunately, this is in the only line that visits Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay. I will never take another cruise with Princess again (my husband says he will never cruise again period after this trip).
