This was my 2nd trip on the Carnival Splendor. We did the same itinerary in 2013. We had a great time and decided to do it again.
We drove to Union N.J. and our friends let us keep our car at their house.
We got a ride right to the port, Nice! We arrived at 11:30. This was the easiest embarkation ever. We checked in and were told the cameras weren't working, so go over to the other kiosk and have the pictures taken. After that we went right on board. Didn't even have to sit down! When we got on board we went right to the room, it was ready. We dropped off our carry-on luggage and headed to the rotisserie for lunch.

We had room 1005, cloud 9 spa room. It was very quiet. Sujana was our room steward. He worked very hard and was always available to help us. We enjoyed the special shampoos and conditioners that were supplied. Our favorite was the thalasso pool. At the most there were 6 people in there and it never felt crowded. It did wonders for my arthritis!

New York (Manhattan)
I did not do a tour, only drop off at the pier. I love New York and have visited a lot. There is plenty to do if you come a few days early.
Grand Turk
Easy walk off pier. Very nice island. There are many excursions if you wish. We opted for a beach day and enjoyed it very much!
Nassau
I've been to Nassau multiple times. This time we just wanted to relax. We got the beach day pass at the British Colonial Hilton. It was $60 and included a $40 food and drink credit. The beach was very nice and the pool was too!
Half Moon Cay
Ah, my favorite island. Perfect weather, perfect ocean. Very calm. I had some excellent snorkeling. I just got an underwater camera and got some amazing photos and videos!
