we spent five days in copenhagen before the cruise.  loved it.  very friendly city.

one of my favorite parts of the whole trip...rakvere castle is so fun!!

hermitage is beautiful and so is church of the spilled blood.  just very, very crowded!

do the hop on and hop off buses.  great way to see city!

Helsinki

the vasa museum was so interesting.  wish we had more time inside.  the ice bar was very unique and fun.

Pros

the crew is exceptional

some of the entertainment was really incredible

the captain and officers were very accessible and could be seen often throughout the ship

specialty restaurants were very good

ports were amazing

Cons

the ship is old

most of the food was awful

If there is one thing I can say about the norwegian star, it is that the crew is really awesome.one thing i noted about norwegian that doesnt happen on other lines, is you can find the crew eating in the buffet and mingling.
