I enjoyed this cruise. I thought the ship was very nice. Our room was a basic balcony room and I thought that we had plenty of room for our "stuff" so that we could unpack and not leave much in the basic part of the room. The bathroom was adequate. We did not use the balcony except to look out or to take pictures as the temperature was not that hot.

Our steward, Rez, was EXCELLENT. He often anticipated our needs and would offer suggestions to make things better. His service always came with a smile and he genuinely seemed happy to help us and talked with us whenever he saw us. I could not think of one thing he could have done better. We had anytime dining and had excellent waiters, some we had a few times. They were friendly and often humorous making our dining experience great. The food was generally good. If we did not like what we ordered they told us to order something else and we got the new dish quickly. We ate most breakfasts in the buffet. Except for one day we hd no problem finding a seat--sometimes we joined other people. The food was fine at the buffet. I also ordered room service when we had early morning excursions. I do not eat that much for breakfast so that was just fine. I found that while the ship was big I rarely ever had to stand in line for anything. On my last cruise on a smaller ship, I had to stand in line occasionally for the buffet and could not find a seat for a show in the smaller show room. I ate at the extra price restaurant the crown grill. It was very good. I actually found the waiter there not as good as some I had in the anytime dining. I did not pay extra as I received this as part of my incentives for booking this ship.

My room was mid-aft so we often used the aft elevators which were not as crowded or use the stairs. It was a great location. There was a lot of walking on the ship but most of the time we ended up mid ship and walked somewhere from there. It did not seem to bother me.
