This is our 3rd on the Dawn from Boston. First one without a hurricane! The ship is busy this week because of the holiday but did not interfere. We found service to be very good and food to be very good. Weather for the trip was great. We took the Horse Shoe Beach shuttle for the first time from dockyard for $7 a person. Very convenient and we did not experience a line. Le Bistro was very good. Breakfast in Venetian was good and dinner in Aqua was too. We had pre-reserved our dinner time each evening but showed up early a few times and no problem being seated. Bamboo which is no complimentary was good but was a touch better last year. Our room steward was excellent. Always willing to please and very efficient. Sail away bars were very busy but to be expected. We had an incident first day with neighbor smoking on balcony but was very quickly resolved by housekeeping and did not happen again. The guest service representative took care of it immediately for us and was truly exceptional. There was a problem with the main pool on port days being closed due to finding a diaper. Hopefully NCL will learn from this and institute a stronger policy so all passengers do not lose out. We did miss the buffet in Blue Lagoon for breakfast but still had chicken wings for lunch. One of the hosts in the casino was lovely but the other was not, lacking professionalism and tact. Overall a great time. Disembarkation takes some time but we were off the ship and in the car at 10 a.m.
