I hadn't been on a cruise in 25 years, so I didn't really know what to expect. Some things were so much better than expected. Others were a disappointment.

Room: Mini suite rooms were spacious enough for our family of 3. Bathroom set up was different but didn't bug us at all. TONS of storage. The "bed" for our son (looks like a sofa) was hard as a rock. Loved the balcony and twice sitting out there saw dolphins jumping in the sea.

Ship: Huge! Didn't feel motion at all except when departing from a port. Lots of people smoking that you had to walk past to get places. General ship décor was a bit tacky. Slides were fun for our son but there really isn't any decent size pool at all. Two VERY small rectangular pools. 15th floor where the main buffet was located was often completely packed, took a long time to get anything and then there was no place to sit and eat. We had the drink package for drinks and soda but had to wait in long lines to get anything. The morning we left we tried to get a soda and they very sharply refused. Very "no soup for you" attitude. All bar areas were understaffed (never more than 1 person at the buffet bar for an incredible number of people).
