Just retured from 14 days aboard The Caribbean Princess. It was a wondeful cruise with fabulous ports of call - Tallinn stands out as an unexpected delight, and we were lucky enough to have wonderful weather, something we hadn't expected on this itinerary.

In my opinion the ship was fine, I have been on ships that really did look tired and this was not one of them. Our balcony cabin was spacious and the design, with hanging space for clothes outside the bathroom and separate to the bedroom itself; well thought out. Our steward was excellent. She was unobtrusive but everything was done perfectly, including fresh ice every morning. I note others on the previous cruise to Norway mentioned the absence of the captain. We also saw very little of him for the first few days, but the penny must have dropped with the powers that be because he was replaced at Stockholm with an englishman who was very informative and capable.

The staff were friendly and gave the impression that they really did want to be of assistance (perhaps the reception staff could do better though). Food was of an exceptionally high standard, I don't understand how people can complain about it, whether we ate in the formal restaurants or the buffet everything was hot and freshly cooked and there was a huge amount of choice.
