Fantastic cruise around the hawaiin Islands followed by 5 days at sea ending in Vancouver. Read previous reviews about carnival legend and agree with the comments about the decor being a bit over the top but on the whole an excellent cruise. This was our 3rd cruise with carnival, we've also cruised with P&O and Celebrity and whilst I prefer P&O and celebrity, this cruise was excellent value for money. The food was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the steakhouse (extra charge). We didn't go to any of the shows but had some great nights in the Red Frog pub and the Piano Bar - Adam from the UK was brilliant. The serenity area at the back of the ship (adults only) was great.

We went hiking, kayaking, snorkelling and tubing - all great excursions. The only disappointment was our helicopter trip on the Big Island (Hilo) was cancelled due to bad weather.

Service was great and staff very friendly. Cabin was ok. We went for an extended balcony cabin but there was a large overhang above the balcony so we didn't get much sun.
