Food: Terrible at many, average at best at some. Honestly some of the food we tried we could not believe someone would let this leave the kitchen. If it wasn't included with the cruise I would have demanded a refund. Never tried anything that blew our mind, which is in stark contrast to other cruises i've been on. Activities/Entertainment: This was the biggest disappointment to me. The shows and stuff were great, but the Norwegian Cruise line needs to re prioritize! There are so much wasted place and it is so obvious that the NCL is more interested in money than keeping their customers happy. You have a couple ping pong tables, darts, pool tables, and 6-7 bowling alleys for 4000+ people!? Get rid of the art exhibit and a shopping mall shouldn't be a whole floor! The kids can't even go to the Arcade without spending 1-2$ per game, many lasting 30 seconds or less! Maybe i'm just cheap, but my god these are kids! If the kids aren't happy do you think the parents' are going to book another cruise with you??? Use some common sense! Drinks were an absolute rip off. If you want the package deal, you have to pay for your whole room, regardless of age or if they want to drink or not! There's simply not much to do on the cruise, especially if you don't drink. By day 3 we already did everything there was on the ship and were relegated to playing darts or buying ridiculously overpriced (and watered down) drinks. Short excursion: Rip off, rip off, rip off. Sure We could pay for their overpriced tours for convenience. OR just rent a car and visit all the sites that we want. The local taxi service was also very convenient at a fraction of the price. Just plan your shore excursions on your own! Cabin: No complaints here, loved the housekeeping staff. The man seemed very passionate about pleasing the guests and even left us intricate animals made of towels! One of the few bright spots of the cruise.
