Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Great food, very pleasant and helpful staff. Usual mixture of ports with some more attractive than others. However the star find was Nessebar in Bulgaria. Yards from the tender there were loads of attractive shops and restaurants. This was one of the substitute ports as replacement for the Ukraine ports. All cruise lines should find an excuse to go there. The only reason I have not given the cruise 5 stars is the lack of enforcement of the dress code in the evenings. On the informal nights we had shorts, T shirts, jeans, leggings, flip flops and in fact some people turned up wearing what they had had on at the pool. On the formal nights guess what we still had T shirts, jeans, leggings etc On one formal night there was a reception for passengers who had cruised more than 5 times with Princess. Dress was quite a bit better but a minority turned up to meet the captain wearing shorts. They should never have been allowed to cross the door. Princess are enforcing no smoking and no alcohol rules so it is time they enforced the rules on attire which they list in the pre cruise information. At the door of restaurants and selected bars there should be signs saying what is not allowed and a security presence to turn people away. If passengers do not want to dress smartly they should go to the Horizon Court or stay at home

Everything Great but Restaurant Dress Attire
