Sail Date: Jul 2015
Traveled with children

We just took our first NCL cruise out of Boston on the Dawn. I will never sail with this cruise line again. The service was horrible took an hour to check in at Black Falcon Terminal the woman checking us in could not see our passports she kept trying to figure out the difference between my husband and my son (one is 50 the other is 16). Finally she put on some reading glasses and still could not see. Finally we get on board and I go to get a drink only for the staff to tell me I am under age on my card had to go to guest services to fix that problem another line to stand in.

Well we got to Bermuda and they had to close the pool someone had soiled in it, the only pool on board, and it was closed the entire 3 days in Bermuda no compensation what so ever. If I am in Bermuda in July my children want to swim when we were on board. The bar service was horrible every where on the ship. They had 1 server at Java Cafe so trying to get a coffee was next to impossible. They need more wait staff I ordered a soda by the pool from 2 different waiters and it took nearly an hour to get it. The GREAT service we did have was from our cabin steward he was wonderful and totally deserves a raise but am sure he will not get. The fees are ridiculous 12.95 dollars per day per person and the staff doesn't see much or any of it.
