This is our first time cruising so keep that in mind.Background-From Oregon, and traveling with a person with a disability. We were spouse to travel with family but they got sick and cancelled. This ship was picked due to freestyle eating and Glacier Bay.

Parking at Bell Street Pier garage was easy, took the skybridge across to Pier 66. Check in was smooth and they do have a special check in for disabled passengers which speeds up the process.

Tips: From other frequent cruisers, we heard they were disappointed in the food and size of the ship. But it seems like currently the Panama Canal can get the big ships through with their big fins. We found the Pearl an adequate size.

Comfortable bed, everything was in working order. Arthur, our steward, was friendly and makes some great towel animals! I especially enjoyed the monkey the night the ship was rocking a bit. Gave us a chuckle when we entered the room.
