We sailed on the Breakaway from NY to Bermuda June 29th-July 5th 2015. We have sailed previously on RCI,Disney, & Carnival several times. We decided to take this cruise because it was the only one that worked into everybody's schedule since my son is currently a US Marine.

The good:

We loved the ship and didn't find it to be too big as we have read about. We are avid walkers at home so that may be why. Our cabin was on Deck 10 with an Aft balcony. We usually book mid ship but our agent suggested that we give this a try. We are so glad that we did. The room was spacious and the balcony was large enough for all five of us to hang out on. We had 2 sun loungers and 2 regular chairs along with a side table and still had room to move around. I was concerned with the movement of the ship since I am prone to vertigo. I never had an issue in our room but seemed to have felt it more in the restaurants which happened to be mid ship. Our room steward Allan was very friendly and always had a smile to greet us with. We had a problem with our air conditioner not working one day and our toilet not flushing a few days later and both issues were resolved quickly.

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Loved our cabin. We had lots of room and our cabin steward always had it cleaned and ready to go for us. Allan is the best!
