Did not have a good first time on Elation. This time around i'm not expecting too much as to everything must be perfect and just make the best out of it.

Embarkation: Friday Dec 22nd, raining like crazy and cold. Walking from across street dragging our suitcase into a waiting area. We make a mistake of hanging around this covered area which is crowded and hectic to wait for all our families. What we should have done is go past security and into another area where it is nicer with cleaner restroom and wait there instead. We did not know this until we past security, hopefully this will be useful on another rainy day for some other cruisers.

We got in and immediately went to Tiffany. Line was long and food was ok, They have about 4 stations. Each station have a menu which describe food at station. There also a master menu which describe all station which is useful as to know which station to line up for food. I overheard someone that got on early that there was no line when they got there so we must have hit rush hour.

Cabin Review

Still no flat screen Tv which is so 80's and make room so clutter. They devoted some room real estate for life jacket which is ashame as room already to small.
