This was my second cruise and my first time to Alaska. I have previously sailed on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas in the Southern Caribbean. I am 25 years old and was travelling with my 20 year old sister.

Embarkation:

Long. Took about 1.5 - 2 hours. They had waiting rooms with chairs for people to sit and rest while they waited in multiple different lines. We arrived at about 11am and was on the ship by 1pm. Once on the ship, our room was ready immediately and our luggage delivered shortly after.

I felt the style was very outdated. Everything was very old fashioned and needed to be updated. We had an inside room which was spacious and comfortable. The shower had a flimsy curtain instead of a curved plastic door like on the Jewel, making the shower feel much smaller. We had issues with our toilet not stopping to flush and our shower not draining causing it to overflow into the bathroom floor. With a simple phone call everything was fixed right away. While the décor and furnishings were outdated, the ship itself and our cabin was very clean.
