Seabourn really do exceed your expectations. Nearing 100 nights on Seabourn one does wonder if the next cruise will be as good as the last one. Well it was. From the moment we were met by Paulo on the dockside who warmly welcomed us to the last day of farewells Seabourn Sojourn made you feel special and part of the family.
The itinerary in the Med was excellent, the stewardess first class, the food with chef Neal was amazing, the staff so attentive and the entertainment with cruise director Sophie excellent for a ship of this size. What more could one ask for? Nothing is too much trouble and if you need help a visit to Seaboard Square where the staff will sort it out for you. And of course while there order a coffee from the amazing Monika or Laura.
Gripes are few, but smoking on balconies must be stopped, and hot coffee for breakfast outdoors in the Colonnade would be appreciated, but wow what a great time we had.
Very comfortable and big enough for what we want.
Chill out here but did visit the Sigrida which is now spectacular.
Pretty bustling working port, rent a car and drive to Carcassonne
Beautiful island, hire a car and drive around the Eastern side of the island and see the mountain and coastal villages.
Just a wander around the town. The Rolex yacht race was in town and it was busy busy.
A big city, we hired a tour company to take a party of 6 to Avignon, wine tasting in Chateauneuf du Pape and then to Luberon to see the lavender fields. Beware the fields are only in bloom from mid June to early August when they are harvested but an amazing site. Avignon is remarkable and a must visit.
Always a pleasure to wonder the streets and climb to the palace.
Good port to take some exercise as it is hilly and old town is a good climb
