Boarded with no problem & immediately impressed with the airy layout of the ship. Surprised with the cabin space after reading previous reviews, we found it fine & well laid out, liked the open plan hanging as you can see what's there & get more in. Super comfy bed & we slept well every night, yes it would be nice to have separate reading lights but it wasn't a problem for us. Balcony fine, we used it a lot & both sat there with drinks OK, yes it's not huge but it's a lot better than none at all! Loads of room under the bed for our 5 cases.
Bathroom fine with good shower & a glass door, plenty of stowage space as well. Found the ship very quiet under way with virtually no vibration or rattles, seemed very stable as well but we didn't have much in the way of bad seas on our cruise. Freedom dining in the Meridian was very good & the food impressed, ate in Sindhu twice & that was superb.
Never had any problems whatsoever with lifts & never had to wait more than a couple of minutes, the lack of a central stairs never caused us a problem either. We did have the special Eric Lanyard afternoon tea & didn't really like it, far too sweet & sickly! Great drinks service in the many bars & entertainment areas with a huge range of real ales in Brodies.
Clean, airy & plenty big enough for 2. Plenty of stowage & adequate balcony.
Walked up to the castle, great views over the port & then down into town where we found a little bar for Tapas & beers, liked Vigo.
Found the place pretty dirty, covered in Grafiti & not to our liking, back on ship by lunchtime!
Been before so knew our way around, walked some of the F1 track & then up to the old town where we went into the Palace, very good indeed, also visited the princes car collection which we enjoyed as well. Used the hop on hop off bus but found it was always full once we had got off so we walked back down through the gardens to the harbour.
