  • Sail Date: Jun 2015
  • Destination: the Western Caribbean
  • Cabin Type: Interior

Me and my family are waiting to disembark the Carnival Paradise. In general we love cruises. This was our 14th cruise and our 7th Carnival.

The good: The dining room staff is one of the best. ..Cruising in general is a wonderful way to vacation. The food in general was very good, the selection was a bit limited but was fresh...

The bad: I wanted to like this ship and cruise but no matter what I tried the crew did help. This ship is small...did I mention it is small...also the shows for entertainment are very limited and not much compared to NCL and RCCL...They spend more time trying to get you to buy drinks and purchase their limited merchandise then trying to create a great vacation. Please note that of the 7 Carnival ships we have been on this was the worst. If you can select a different ship do so. The senior staff was non-existing which was odd compared to other ships.

I am very disappointed at Carnival and the senior staff of the Carnival Paradise.

Cabin Review

Interior
Cabin 4D U55

These rooms are old and the mattresses are very worn. We sailed with other people who also expressed the same opinion.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Tampa

A small port but very clean and quick to board your ship.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

A nice port but the time to fully enjoy it was limited.

Cozumel

This was a very good port with many several things to enjoy. It was not a St. Thomas but still a good port.
