Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 09B

This room was recently remodeled. We sailed through the Panama Canal in this room for 15 nights. The split bathroom was wonderful although the shower was SMALL and we preferred to go up to the gym/spa and use the (free) showers there instead. There was plenty of storage for 3 pax times 15 days. We requested 20 extra hangers. There were 3 or 4 drawers next to the closet, 1 drawer on each bed table, 4 drawers at the desk plus a large cabinet over the TV which we used to store our snacks and booze. There were three robe hooks at the entry to the room and one hook on the back of each bathroom door. The bed no longer splits. It is a super comfy queen now. There are two new sideways plugs on each side of the headboard as well as one (extra) behind the TV plus two on the desk. The carpet was replaced as was the couch.

This room features a single large port hole on the port side (offering great views of Cozumel and Lands End in Cabo San Lucas). It was located just off the midship elevators and stairs; it was super convenient to get everywhere, but we were far enough away to not hear constant noise of people coming and going. I was concerned the EDGE Club would cause noise, but it was not an issue. The laundry was a few doors down...close enough to be convenient, but not so close that the noise and heat were an issue. It was also easy to access the aft elevators for Animator's Palate, Beach Blanket, and the tender boats on deck one. There was an odd squeak in the roof, but they fixed it. The toilet did stink at times, but our stateroom hostess was able to fix it. I would definitely stay in this room again.

Cabo San Lucas

We did our own thing. We took a glass bottom boat tour to Land's End. Ate at a taco truck in a parking lot and then went to a secret local's beach.
