Well, because this was our first cruise I went to this site and read all critics regarding this particular ship and this particular route. I have found that most of the critics are (IMO) exaggerated.

First, for the embarkation I can't really give a mark because we had a priority one and it was very fast. Also, disembarkation was swift, well organized and without any problems. I would recommend to come earlier for embarkation in Venice because it was very crowded, but organization is good.

Whole ship is very nice, a bit too tacky for my taste but not over tacky. Cabin (with balcony) is superb, very tastefully equipped, very well maintained and clean. It is around 18m2 and we had no problem with space (and we put a cradle for our small boy in it). Maybe I should stress out that we like to camp so we are used to smaller spaces. Balcony is just the right size, fitted with two chairs and small table. My complaints regarding cabin is too small TV set and lack of any music in it (no music channel), also the selection of programs is quite poor and boring.

Cabin Review

Cabin Fantastica

Really very nicely and tasty fitted cabin with balcony. Only drawbacks are small TV set with poor programs and lack of music in cabin. Steward was very nice also. Balcony was just right size with 2 chairs and small table. Clean and very well maintained.

Port Reviews

Istanbul

Fantastic city, full of colors and tastes, so many things to do and see. Awesome historic sites. Go for tram which is efficient and cheap. Also staying in the city too short.
