We (a family of 3) were on our third MSC cruise and second in the Yacht Club. Nothing earth shattering to write about. The YC experience is beyond compare. The food was excellent although the soup served in Palmerie was almost (just almost, mind you) barely warm enough once or twice. The choice of food in said restaurant and in the Top Sail Lounge / The One Bar area was adequate but on one day was, in my opinion, too fish heavy. Service was top notch in the YC area.
The couple times that we ventured out of the YC area, i.e. to the buffet, it was a madhouse. Sure the ship was crowded but we were turned off by the lack of respect displayed towards the ship and other passengers - dirty diapers left on the deck near the pool, cutting in line, etc. We were quick to return to the respite offered at the upper bow area. It took us having the YC experience after have the Bella experience to see the contrast between the two levels of service and really appreciate the tranquility and service provided by the Yacht Club.
Will we return to MSC? Yes. Will we book the Yacht Club again? Yes. Recommended.
Our cabin was a standard YC cabin. Nothing really to comment on except that the painting mounted on the bow facing wall is crooked. Plenty of space otherwise. We did have a problem with a loose showerhead holder but a call to the concierge desk and it was fixed within the hour.
