We recently completed our 5th TA, and our 4th and best ever on the QM2. In my view, there is no better way to cross the Atlantic than by cruise ship and no better ship to do it on than the QM2.

So what's so good about the QM2?

First, there is 50% more steel in the QM2's hull than any comparable cruise ship because she was purpose built to sail the Atlantic on a regular basis. This means she handles the seas much better than any other ship. On our most recent cruise during the last week of May, we could hardly feel any movement and the weather was so good that people were able to sunbathe and swim in the pool. We were also able to do our laps of the ship every day, which we love to do to assuage the guilt of eating so much!
