As you (should) know, you can't please everyone all of the time and I will start this review off by saying that I mostly enjoyed this cruise but here are some likes, dislikes, and hints for anyone that needs them.
* If you're like me and don't like large crowds of people - buy the Vibe Beach Club (VBC) access if you can get it. It cost me $79 for the week (per person) and it was well worth the price because the main adult pool area during the day was wall-to-wall people, hard to move around, hard to find a place to lay out for sun and forget about getting in the pool. The VBC doesn't have a pool, but it does have 2 hot tubs, a private bar, and nicer lounge chairs for sunbathing. And if you need to cool off, there is a nice shower area. Only a limited amount of VBC access is sold (around 80 I heard) but the most people I saw at any one time was 8. On the downside, this area seemed a lot windier than other area's, probably because its towards the front of the ship and on top. The only thing better than this would be to get a Haven stateroom because they have a private pool area (or so I heard). If you go to VBC, say "hi" to Rommell for me (the manager - blue shirt) - he was great!
* St. Thomas was okay, Magens Bay was pretty. Our original shore excursion was cancelled so I rented a Jeep from http://rentamotion.com and drove around. Warning, they drive on the left side of the road in St. Thomas even though its a US Virgin Island but the steering wheel is still on the left side like a US automobile. The driving can be tricky as there are very narrow roads, switchback turns up and down the mountain but I had fun. I may have scared my passengers a bit but we all survived. I also recommend going to Mountain Top while you're there.
Adequate - didn't spend much time in the room as you shouldn't :)
I had booked an excursion but it got cancelled so I found a place to rent a Jeep and drove around at my own pace and just explored which I think was fantastic. I recommend Magen's Bay and Mountain Top.
I've been to Nassau 3 times now - the previous 2 times, I actually got off the ship. The 1st time, I just got off and wandered around - DO NOT DO THAT. The 2nd time, I went on the Blue Lagoon excursion which was nice but... yawn... ho hum. So the 3rd time I just stayed on board and had a great time.
