I cruised with my teen daughter and parents. We stayed at the Scandic Palace hotel 2 nights before we left and enjoyed exploring Copenhagen. We did Tivoli Gardens and a canal tour.

We took a taxi to the port and were on the ship quickly. The ship is beautiful, although a little confusing to get around. Also, there was usually a long wait for the elevators.

Our cabin was wonderful. We each had a balcony room. The bathrooms were a decent size and we loved the big closets. The beds were very comfortable.

Port Reviews

Oslo

We really enjoyed walking around this gorgeous/modern city.

Aarhus

We went into the really old cathedral in town from the 12th century. Fascinating! We also checked out a little Viking museum.

Berlin

We strolled around Warnemunde. It was OK, it was our least favorite of the ports. Most people probably ventured into Berlin.

Tallinn

Our day started out with a torrential downpour and it rained for half the day. However, we loved this charming city and had lunch at a great cafe.

Helsinki

We enjoyed walking around Senate Square and the open air markets, trying different foods and craft vendors.
